Atlantykron is an youth educational summer camp. Organised for the first time in 1990, Atlantykron is known as a fun, exciting and unique learning experience with a curricula developed around science, art, sport and culture. The youth meet, interact and learn together with famous scientists, artists, writers, and other professionals in a truly unique life and learning experience.
The Academy takes place on an island on the Danube river near the village and ancient Roman ruins of Capidava in Romania. A remote and wild island for most of the year is transformed into a special and almost magical place for ten days each summer. Visiting the island are hundreds of youth and teachers from all around the world.
